What To Expect At Your First Visit

If you are able to email a copy of your medical insurance card with dob of the subscriber as well, we may be able to check your eligibility to provide you that information during the consultation.

Sleep Studies

If you have had a sleep study – please email that as the doctor can review it and have a better understanding of your diagnosis and to see if you may be a candidate for oral appliance therapy.

Your First Appointment

At your first appointment, you’ll have a consultation where we gather information about your symptoms, the history of your disorder, your medical and dental history, and any previous treatment that you may have had. You will also have an oral evaluation to determine if you are a candidate for oral appliance therapy. If you have not had a sleep study, we do work with a 3rd party company where you will be able to have a telemed visit with a board-certified sleep physician to be tested for a sleep breathing disorder. Or you can contact your physician to be tested as well.

We often find it necessary to take X-rays, which are done with our state-of-the-art, low-radiation cone beam computerized tomographic machine, which produces three-dimensional color images of the head and neck.
